WELCOME HOME.
An event that represents the identity is an event unlike any other.
Maison Paper is founded upon the innate need to understand others; the belief that the backbone of every unique and iconic event is an equally unique personality.
To understand that is to create something that epitomises You.
In this house, stationery is more than cards and envelopes. Taking inspiration from the couture catwalks of Paris and the pulse of fashion houses in Milan, I see stationery as a limitless form of communication. I believe we show guests the essence of an event from the moment their hands grace the invitation. From artful digital communication to warm handheld memories, there is nothing I am not willing to source or create.
And so, I welcome you into my home and invite you to make it yours as we design something wonderous together.
THE PROCESS.
Birthday. Wedding. Dinner. Celebrate.
Whether it's something you've seen on my socials, or a one-of-a-kind concept you want to make a reality, Maison Paper is committed to helping you design it.
Each design project will involve gaining a detailed knowledge of You, and what you would like to communicate to your guests at your event. From there, a design brief will be constructed for your viewing pleasure and the collaborative design process begins.
I invite you to reach out as early as you like in your planning process. As a boutique stationery service, there is a limited number of fully custom design slots available each year so that I can immerse myself in each and every unique vision.

BEHIND MAISON.
Mais on Paper.
The mind behind the concept, Maisie Cao, is the daughter of a seamstress and was a scientist until 2022. Stepping back from her lifelong career in medical sciences, she now has dedicated her mind to exploring a different world where rules can be broken.
Design feels much like research at times, nothing is impossible, sometimes you just need someone with a different perspective.
Looking to set herself apart from her peers, she explores physical media and playful textures in her design ethic.
Her skills are self taught, her love of fabric arts is born of her mother,
her inspiration comes from all over.
She looks forward to being inspired by you.
